How it works
From on-site kickoff to software in production
A Fractional Forward Deployed Engineer engagement is a relationship, not a transaction. Here's exactly what working together looks like.
On-site discovery kickoff
We start in person, at your office, anywhere in the Metroplex. I learn how your business actually runs, where the bottlenecks are, and which AI and software opportunities are highest-leverage. You get a prioritized build plan, not a vague proposal.
Forward deployment
I embed in your team on a flat monthly subscription. I join your standups, learn your domain, and start shipping. Because I'm dedicated to your roadmap and not split across fifty tickets, context compounds quickly.
Weekly ship cadence
Every week we re-prioritize together and I ship working software into production. AI features, integrations, internal tools, automation: whatever moves the needle most that week.
Compound over six months
The minimum six-month engagement exists because real outcomes compound. Early domain learning turns into accelerating delivery. This is the opposite of a one-off project hand-off.
Transition to maintenance
When the heavy build is behind us, step down to the Maintenance plan ($599/mo, up to 2 hrs/mo) to keep everything patched and healthy, or spin up a fixed-price project when something new lands.
Why it's different
What makes this a Forward Deployed engagement
On-site, in DFW
National subscription shops market "no meetings" and async-only. I do the opposite — in-person time across Dallas–Fort Worth is the whole point.
AI-native, in production
Not slideware. LLMs, agents, and ML pipelines built into systems that real people use, done precisely, not as vague "AI" hype.
One engineer, not a queue
Capped at five clients total. You work directly with the engineer building your software. No account managers, no ticket triage.
Flat monthly price
A predictable subscription instead of hourly billing games or six-figure project quotes. You always know what it costs.
